How do I get the best range and energy efficiency out of my electric scooter?

Here are a few tips to get the best performance out of your Electric scooter?

  • Do not hold the brakes while riding. Although many scooter riders commonly hold the rear brakes slightly while riding, you should avoid this practice to maintain optimal performance. In addition, it reduces brake life, wastes extra energy, and lowers efficiency. Therefore, letting go of the brakes when not needed will help improve your scooter’s longevity and performance.
  • Avoid overloading your scooter. The more weight you carry the more energy is used.
  • Additionally, rapid acceleration and riding at high speeds will use up your battery faster. Therefore, maintaining a steady speed and accelerating gradually can help extend battery life.
  • Always maintain the recommended tyre pressure and check it frequently. Otherwise, if the tyres are under-inflated, their rolling resistance increases. As a result, more energy is wasted to move your scooter. Consequently, this can lead to reduced efficiency and higher energy consumption.

Is there any risk in charging the vehicle even after it is 100% charged?

No, there is no such risk to your scooter since it comes equipped with an auto-cut feature. Nevertheless, it is always advisable to stop charging once the battery is fully charged to ensure long-term battery health.

Does the charger make a lot of noise while charging?

There is absolutely no sound while charging.

Can I drive the vehicle after not using it for a long period, like 2 months?

Absolutely.

However, we strongly recommend charging the vehicle up to 50% if you won’t use it for a long period. Moreover, after using the vehicle for more than a year, the battery range will still remain at approximately 93% to 95% of the initial capacity. As a result, you can expect consistent performance over time.
